
Dr. Bierman is the inventor of StatLock® catheter securement devices and founder of Venetec. In 2006, Venetec was sold to C.R. Bard, Inc. for $168 million.Dr. Bierman, with over 15 years in the medical device marketplace, brings with him to ASI the core of his successful Venetec team.
Mr. Pluth is the former VP of Operations at Venetec, where he successfully launched 1 - 3 new products per quarter for 5 years in succession. Prior to Venetec, Mr. Pluth worked at Winfeld Medical — another successful medical device venture. Mr. Pluth possesses expertise in all aspects of design, manufacturing and production.
Mr. Putnam is the former VP, Finance at PatientSafe Solutions and has more than 15 years of diverse finance and accounting experience. At PatientSafe Solutions, Mr. Putnam was instrumental in closing multiple venture capital-backed equity financings totaling over $50 million. Prior to PatientSafe Solutions, Mr. Putnam held positions at Vivendi Universal Net USA and MP3.com where he played a key role in MP3.com's $380 million IPO and subsequent sale to Vivendi Universal. Mr. Putnam began his career at Ernst & Young and is a licensed CPA (inactive).

Mr. Misajon, who has 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, held this identical position at Venetec, where he successfully took the company through FDA field inspections, ISO certifications and Quality inspections from numerous OEM device companies.

Mr. Watkins worked with the Venetec organization and helped StatLock become the standard of care. Mr. Watkins led the sales force in total sales before the company was purchased by Bard Medical. With C. R. Bard, Mr. Watkins managed a sales team and was integral in multiple product launches. Mr. Watkins brings with him over 13 years of consultative sales experience for both start up and fortune 100 companies.
Mr. Hartman is the former QA manager at Venetec, where he was in charge of Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. Prior to Venetec, Mr. Hartman worked at various catheter start-up companies as well as a contract device manufacturer.
Mr. Rogers is the former Senior Engineer and IT Manager at Venetec, where he was instrumental in supporting the design, manufacturing and production of new and existing products. Mr. Rogers has over 15 years of engineering experience in medical devices and information technology.
Ms. Cook is the former Customer Service Manager at Venetec, where she directed the Customer Service group that supported Venetec through its sales growth from $3 million to over $30 million. Ms. Cook also played an important role in the integration efforts of Venetec into C.R. Bard post-acquisition.

Dr. Stocking is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He has 20 years of clinical experience and works in private practice as both an anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist.
Dr. Duque is board-certified in anesthesiology and has 17 years of clinical anesthesia experience. He is a past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at his hospital and is currently a Director in his anesthesiology group.
